Vacation!!!!!

We went on a much needed vacation for a week.  It started with a visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  They live on the original race circuit of the Grand Prix.  Luke and Ryan liked watching all of the race cars go by!

The next day, we went apple picking with Grandma, Rachel, and Hannah.  Luke and Ryan loved it!

Then we drove up to Syracuse to spend the night in a hotel and to go to the zoo.

Ryan's favorite animal was the penguins!

After the zoo, we headed up to the Thousand Islands (where the salad dressing comes from)!  We went camping in a cabin.  Here was the view from our campsite!

Luke has been asking to go fishing (like Handy Manny) so Phil bought him his first fishing pole.  They only caught seaweed, but Luke loved fishing and spending time with his Dad!

Philip also borrowed a kayak from his parents, so he could take the boys out on the water.  Luke loved it....

....but Ryan didn't like it as much!

While we were there, we went to Boldt Castle.

What a way to start your morning!  An awesome view, good book, and....

.....some hot chocolate!

We had a great time!  It was hard to leave!
