Summer Time!

We have been really enjoying the summer so far.   The boys love playing outside all of the time, swimming, and going to the parades and festivals!

Here are some pictures of them just hanging out around the house.  Their favorite things to do are swinging on the swing set and playing in the water.

Living a few blocks from the lake has been great!  We are able to go swimming whenever we want!
My Dad, Todd, and Alison came to visit over the 4th of July and we went to see a parade.  The boys get as much candy thrown from the floats at the parade as they do tick-or-treating!
Having a picnic on the 4th of July.  Ryan is not in the picture because...
... he is swinging while eating his corn on the cob!
Phil's work had a picnic at the local amusement park!  Luke LOVED going on all of the rides.  Ryan like the train of course!
 I love my boys!

30!!

It hard to believe that I am turning 30 years old in August!  I feel so old!  When you are younger, 30 seems so far away.  I recently had dinner with some high school friends, and as we were catching up on each other's lives, they said that I am doing everything I said I was going to do when we grew up!  I definitely always have had dreams of what my life would be like after high school and college were done, and I can positively say that I am living out all of my dreams.  I am married to a wonderful man that believes his family is important and works hard for us.  I am in awe of how he can work so much and still come home and play with his kids, fix up the house, and sometimes fix dinner.

I always wanted to have a big family.  I have 2 wonderful children with one on the way.  There is no better moment than hearing and watching my kids laugh and play together.  I have been feeling the baby move for a couple of weeks, and that is one of the greatest feelings!  I love my kids so much!  I always struggled with finding a major in college because I knew that I wanted to stay at home and be with my children which I am doing now.  I truely love being a stay at home mom!  I am so happy that I am able to watch them grow up and not make them grow up in a daycare.

It hasn't always been easy to path, but it is really an awesome feeling to look at my life and know it is everything I have dreamed of since I was little.  Supporting my husband through med school and residency definitely has made things a little harder, but it has been worth it!  I am excited for the next 30 years.  I can't wait to meet the new baby and maybe have another.  I look forward to seeing who my children become, who they marry, what kind of parents they will be.  I can't wait for Phil to finally become a practicing doctor and see all of his hard work finally payoff. My life has truely been blessed and I am so happy!
