The Cleveland Cavaliers

We have been enjoying some family time lately, and we hope to get in a lot more before Phil starts his residency here in Erie (which we are very excited about)!

Phil has been wanting to go to a Cavaliers game since we moved to Erie four years ago!  On Wednesday, Phil decided that he wanted to go to a Cavaliers game that night!  So we packed up the kids and went!  First, we stopped at a mall in Cleveland where they had big guitars which Luke was SO excited about!

This past month has been very busy.  Ryan started crawling and got 2 more teeth!  We got back yesterday from a 2 week trip to South Carolina to visit my family.  It was a lot of fun (except for a stomach bug we all got)!  Here are our pictures!

I flew down with the boys because Phil had to stay at home to go to school.  I was worried about flying by myself, but it turned out great!  The boys were wonderful on the airplane!  Luke was exited that we got to fly in an airplane painted like a whale!

Once we got to my parent's house, we went to Swan Lake.  Luke loved it when the ducks and swans ate crackers off of his foot!

 We played at a lot of parks while we were there.  Ryan got to swing for the first time!

My parents took us to Myrtle Beach for the weekend!  We had a hotel on the beach!

In the hotel, they had an indoor lazy river, toddler pools, swimming pool, and a lot of hot tubs!

After our beach trip, we all got a stomach bug and my camera died, so we didn't get too many more pictures.  Here is Luke and Ryan with Uncle Travis and Aunt Melissa.

 Then we went to Aunt Traci's house for the weekend because I was supposed to be flying out of Raleigh on Sunday.  Luke loved playing with his cousins!

While we were there, they had a snow "storm".  It snowed only a few inches (which is an everyday experience in Erie in the winter).  They cancelled our flight the day after the "storm" came through.  The boys and I had to stay a night in a hotel to catch my plane the next day.  Here is a picture of the roads on the way to the hotel, only 2 hours after my cancelled flight was supposed to leave (completely clear)!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year to everyone! I am excited to see what this year will bring for us! The biggest thing we have planned this year will be Phil graduating from med school and starting residency in June! Hopefully it will be a smooth transition and residency will go well for the whole family!

This week, we took the kids sledding for the first time this season!Luke absolutely LOVED it! He asks to go again every day!Ryan even went sledding a few times too! He enjoyed it! Luke loved to wrestle with Ryan (he does it very gently). Ryan thinks it is funny.We ended our holiday week with a visit from Phil's family. It was great to see them!
